It was set up by a more liberal friend so I was just being nice. We went out to dinner and he actually seemed cool. No politics, no bullshit it was just us hanging out. And then before we left he walked me to my car where he seen my MAGA hat and he said "oh... you support Trump?" and of course I said yeah. He said "oh yeah.... me too. I just don't like how he's against immigrants."

I brought up how he was against illegal aliens and that was the trigger. We went back and forth for a minute before he told me how I'm against immigrants... While I myself am an immigrant. That broke my brain enough to where I just said goodnight and left.

It's not over though! I got a text from my friend just a bit ago saying she set it up hoping to "show me the light". I just don't know what to say.

Sorry for the rant, just needed to vent to someone.
