We tend to think people that are obese are just overweight, and people that are trim and healthy are too skinny. However, there is a difference between obesity and morbid obesity. Trump is not the latter, but very likely may be the former. Lastly, prediabetes isn't full-blown diabetes. But at his age, with the foods that he is known to eat, it would be almost impossible for anyone to not have some amount of blood sugar dysregulation.
He isn’t obese, he’s over weight. However he’s got more energy than every single one of 74 year olds despite so much pressure and not much sleep. I think he will be just fine.

Hypertension in general is common in the world right now. A lot of factors go into it, too, not just weight or sodium intake.
