Timing is suspicious as fuck. Benefits the Democrat in every way.

stoic_troll 52 points ago +57 / -5

Nope, not really. Listen to Cernovich's take on it on his Twitter. This is Trump's hero moment.

Harambe 36 points ago +39 / -3

They intentionally infected Trump to get out of future debates in-person.

Trump should refuse to do any remote debates.

11
stoic_troll 11 points ago +12 / -1

Hmm, not sure of the right play here. Remote debates are dull and boring, for sure.

I_Keep_Forgetting 14 points ago +14 / -0

Too much potential for technical complications. I'd rather no debate, personally. It's been clear Trump isn't afraid of debates, and he has made plenty of commentary since the first one that he is ready for the second. COVID came completely out of nowhere, so it's not as if it can be said he's using COVID to avoid the debates.

Plus, you know that the Democrats are absolutely going to mute his mic if he does a virtual debate. Hell, just typing that out makes me wonder how much of this was planned since the debate results came out a couple days ago. I somewhat doubt this was Trump catching a fluke case. The left has demonstrated that they're willing to do so much to undermine his candidacy. Shit, just tonight we had someone leaking private audio conversations from 2 years ago.

14 days quarantine, He will be done just before the next debate

WowStrongWinning 13 points ago +16 / -3

Yep this is actually the greatest thing to happen for him politically.

How so?

Iranhasnukes 8 points ago +8 / -0

Just spent the better half of 15 minutes searching for Cernovich's anything - he has like 5 videos from 2020 the ready are all older and none close to Oct 1.

Annoying. Bring comment with a reference link and save the world.

live22morrow 5 points ago +5 / -0

This. And when Trump recovers, the left's reaction will be an advertising goldmine.

2
Iranhasnukes 2 points ago +2 / -0

Link?

TranquilityBased 38 points ago +39 / -1

Not necessarily. UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson got it and there was a huge outpouring of affection and support for him, even from those who didn't vote for him.

25
drdespinz 25 points ago +25 / -0

Yeah Boris used the opportunity to unify the divisions between fighting parties, I think Trump can try the same.

12
MAGAMAN4EVA 12 points ago +14 / -2

The parties will not unify. One needs to be crushed for peace.

drdespinz 1 point ago +1 / -0

A house divided cannot stand

9
MyDogCompletesMe 9 points ago +13 / -4

Boris almost died.

11
Carry_Your_Name 11 points ago +12 / -1

No he didn't. He was moved into ICU for precaution. He was in there fore a few days, and he was out as good as new.

11
drdespinz 11 points ago +14 / -3

I think it humbled Boris in a way that people recognized, and that humble expression broke people out of their partisan spell bind enough to earnestly wish him well. If Trump does the same tomorrow I think MSM will instantly go soft on him. It could turn around election chances. Here's to hoping for tomorrow.

CuomoisaMassMurderer 6 points ago +9 / -3

Some are saying he hasn't been the same since. I haven't heard anything from him since.

18
CannonballJunior 18 points ago +18 / -0

I don't think that will happen with President Trump. The Left in America today has a real vicious streak that I think exceeds the Left in the UK, and this is particularly true when it comes to Trump. The Left/media will show little sympathy. Most will mock & ridicule him for not wearing a mask and for being personally cavalier toward the virus. They will compare that to Biden's very careful attitude & actions and praise Biden. Make no mistake they will spin this against Trump to try and hurt him further with moderate voters and suburban women voters.

Exactly. Trump will be given very different treatment by the Left/media here.

11
DebbieinDallas 11 points ago +12 / -1

Different personality types. Boris is generally liked but doesnt get much done, at least not lately. He got Brexit done. Fell sick. Now UK is in lockdown and no freedoms. Pity Boris didnt tell his compatriots about HCQ that Trump sent him.

12
MohammedIsPedophile 12 points ago +12 / -0

The President is generally liked. Just not by the fake news. Rasmussen recently reported a 53% approval rating.

-3
DebbieinDallas -3 points ago +2 / -5

Look, I am not disagreeing with you. I love Trump since Day 1. But there is a diff between job approval and personal popularity

27
KuhlooKuhlay 27 points ago +27 / -0

i don't see how it benefits the dems unless he is taken out by it.

17
GitmObama 17 points ago +17 / -0

Exactly. The women will swoon with sympathy.

36
KuhlooKuhlay 36 points ago +36 / -0

there ls at least a 99.5% chance he'll be just fine. plus 2 weeks of taking it a bit easy could do him and his campaign really well. also, what is the media going to talk about for 2 weeks with trump somewhat on the sidelines? it's not like basement joe will be out barnstorming. the lefties will show their fangs and then let their guard down bigly.

Changes the dynamic. May take the air out of his tires. May get sick.

4
KuhlooKuhlay 4 points ago +4 / -0

again, as long as he recovers and doesn't have to drop out it's not a win for them

He's been around thousands of people and taking HCQ as an inhibitor, being tested daily or every other day and never a positive... Until now, two days after debate night. I hope secret service scours every corner of that venue and looks into everyone who was anywhere near POTUS that night, and who was near Hope Hicks in the preceeding days leading up to the debate.

Fuck it, round up everyone he was in contact with since his previous test.

What is the incubation period? Also, find out everyone who was around Hope Hicks

Badgertime33 16 points ago +18 / -2

Don't count your eggs before they hatch.

You really think GEOTUS doesn't have the greatest October Surprise of all time ready for us??

15
Harambe 15 points ago +16 / -1

he will be done with his quarantine in 2 weeks, gives him enough time to mock all the mask-fags before the election.

3
MAGAMAN4EVA 3 points ago +3 / -0

I mean the odds say this will be what happens.

-1
Carry_Your_Name -1 points ago +4 / -5

Does anybody know how does the CCP virus damage the organs and what are the symptoms? All of the news are about cases, lockdown, finger pointing and celebrity cases. Now a single piece has ever informed me about what on earth is this invisible killer.

2
Italians_Invented_2A 2 points ago +2 / -0

Chinavirus can cause a specific type of nasty pneumonia, which can damage your lungs. Pneumonia can be deadly.

The mechanism is well understood, at least the primary mechanism.

I, like you, don’t know for sure if QAnon is real or fake. What I do know is that QAnon has motivated literally millions, has people researching, and that the deep state is trying its hardest to silence it and shut it down. Maybe don’t be so quick to just hUrR dUrr blow it off?

13
EagleI 13 points ago +14 / -1

Could be. Make libs and media look like monsters when they celebrate. (Archive their vitriol.) Also, opportunity to show HCQ works or new vaccine.

6
Averon 6 points ago +6 / -0

I would trust HCQ over any vaccine, especially those RNA or DNA vaccines

4
DebbieinDallas 4 points ago +4 / -0

Yes. Tests positive but doesnt get sick. Ok to vote in person.
