Facebook makes totally decent people act crazy from some reason, I don't know why. But I don't think it reflects how they really are.

I just unfriend those people, and say to myself "that person can't handle facebook", I'm talking to them in real-life only.

I think it's more that the pseudo-anonymity of Facebook is allowing them to show off their true selves, so it's a more honest look into their persona than an IRL conversation. IRL, they know they might face some clapback for saying something as dumb as "LOL, hope orange man fucking dies" or at least have to defend their position. Online, they can just block anyone who disagrees or questions their ideas.

You are cutting them slack; proferring grace. Remember they don't deserve that; they've shown otherwise. Your favor is yours to give, though.

FB-stupidity is a reveal: of THEIR character.

Humans aren't perfect though. They can be incited by circumstances to do things they ordinarily wouldn't. Not that that makes it ok, but I don't think it's fair to judge everyone at their worst.

It's not bad to forgive them, if they ask. That's a good thing. It could very well be bad, to forgive them if they don't first ask; that can be Enabling.
