Interesting take about the campaign. Dan Bogino says they determined a while back that this election is solely about motivating his base to get out and vote. This is probably where people here get the idea that there are no undecided voters.

Certainly for a week or so people are going to see this as scary, and it will increase panic over some "pandemic." In scare quotes because as early as April 1 most of the Country had this under control. While some places like NYC had actual problems. Which Cuomo then spread all over the place.

So this might not adversely affect the campaign at all, and might even help him; it'll certainly change the dialog for a bit.
