The president needs our support now more than ever, but there's no point arguing with hateful shills. Spread love, not hate. Their hate will be their doom. Don't get on their level.
Sadly, I fear that you may be right. As long as they view the other side as evil, words as violence, and differing opinions as hatred, turning the other cheek is the same as capitulation. Personally, I was waiting and hoping that the Left would devour its own enough so that most of us could live our lives in peace.... I guess my wishful thinking was too optimistic....
