Another person asked me a question. Figured I would copy/pasta it here in case you were curious and to elaborate a bit further. This is likely TLDR so not giving a fuck to read it is fine by me.

I will try an answer as honestly and open as I can without writing a book.

I spend a lot of time researching. I have a great lot of interests. To understand my answer you will have to understand not just my what, but my why. I know that as much as I know, as much as we collectively know, we know such a small fraction. I see that even now, where we will be within 100 years, we will look back out our current cultures, our own present zeitgeist, that we will look at us then, as we now look back at us in medieval times. Our advancement is far more than technology, but our understanding of responsibility to the world itself, as stewards, instead of just takers. I know we will fix all the damage we have done to the world... Through technology, and technology through Capitalism ONLY, with the end result of Capitalism making itself obsolete. Getting further into that is a book, and a basis of the reader having be well read and researched enough into the Technological Singularity. I am far more of a Utopian with a bumpy road to it than a Dystopian. I like to understand limits and potentials. I like thoughts that are a journey into themselves, and thought experiments. I listen to a lot of smart mother fuckers, but I am very much on my own. I don't absorb, I critically weigh, parse, test, and judge information to get the closest I can to a conclusion, and stay away from an opinion. I am an INTJ, with a great Neo Cortex, but my Hippocampus is my bane and I have to work hard at retaining and recalling information. I am very well read, but too far into the forgotten. I am a very curious person who never lost amazement, wonderment, and a sense of needing to know things. I refuse to be intellectually stagnant, or to hit my wall, and be ok with my world model.

Now, I don't outright refuse the idea of a creator God, Goddess, Gods and Goddesses, some ungendered spirit that has creation level abilities. Thing is, I do not know this. I think it is a possibility, I don't rule it out, but I don't see it, I don't experience it, and a lot of what the religious point to, I logically can refute for me. I am not a fan of religion as it gives easy answers and kills curiosity. Science and Logic has been a thorn to religion because it takes away the easy answers, and shows how complex reality is. I find too many faults in a religious idea of God. As for a spiritual side of God outside of any dogma, God, or the Creator, is not an active participant. If it exists it is a watcher, and if there be a Heaven or Hell, or anything of any end result from judgment, I will be judged by what I choose, regardless of the fear of the end result, or the promise of some paradise. It doesn't matter to me what I am suppose to do or be, I CHOOSE ME, nothing else. I've taken a lot of time in my own life to try and cleanse myself of external influences. I am not my time period, experiences, influences, or anything else external. I am not my nurture. I as well question the nature aspect of how I as a Human am affected by Millions of years of evolution, and how that has affected human socializing, and behavior. I am the guy who runs into the fire, or puts my life on the line for strangers. I have come to understand myself in both the external and internal parts of humanity and being a human. I have taught myself how to recognize and choose a lot of myself. That part is important because I see that my life is a part of an insane amount of factors. More people have never existed than will ever exist, because the way history went down. I exist because of the world. I am not the biggest fan of Humanity, but I expect greater things from us. However, the natural world, it is beautiful and ugly, Mankind is a sense is like that too. We have done some pretty terrible and fucked up shit, but we have done some pretty wonderful and beautiful things as well.

I worship nature in both aspects. I understand that for something to live, something else will die. I have come to respect reality in the raw. I worship nature because it is what it is, and it gives no damn. You want to survive, you want to live, you value your life, you must then not take existing for granted. I refuse to feel sorry for myself no matter what life throws at me. I will get the fuck back up. As a species, through redesigning our environment to suit us, and through Science we have lost that grasp on life that used to threaten us. We have grown complacent, weak, apathetic, and ignorant. We have weak children and weak adults who crumble so fucking easily. Look at the left. These people are the pinnacle of deranged. You got people in this soft society killing themselves over the stupidest shit while other people in the world would kill for their life to live. The struggle in nature, that tooth and claw mentality that would gnaw off a leg to live... People today lost their sense of nature... Everything I have been through I wouldn't change, I don't have to like it, but I beat it, and it's a footnote. I don't care where I have been, but where I am going, and I will fight tooth and claw wherever I take me.

If there is a place to worship what the Creator made, it isn't in a structure built by Man, it is in the time weathered places where the Creator touched, with the rules of reality, outside what Man has redesigned to fit its needs. I worship nature, in the sense of coming to understand mine, past external and evolutionary: the nature of my own pure spirit, and understanding my place in existence whatever I might find myself among. I cannot claim there is a God, Goddess, or Creator of any sorts to worship. To me, it is the utmost Hubris to say you know, and faith is just far too faulty to me to kneel to. I am open to being wrong, but I am not open to being blind.

I consider myself Pagan, though I know and understand the roots of that word, because what I see as being pure is nature, BECAUSE IT IS WHAT IT IS AND YOUR FEELINGS WON'T FUCKING CHANGE THAT! Lol, to exist can be harsh, give up and die, or fight tooth and nail for every breath if you must. I refuse to give up and die. Nature is reality. I have far more experience in reality than in God.
