Sincerity is the key. You either mean it or you don’t. It’s not hard to tell whether or not you’re being sincere. The insincere people I suspect are the ones who have never prayed to the Lord alone in solitude when nobody is watching or listening.
These people might go to church and they might publicly call themselves Christian but not once have they had a personal moment where they’ve really turned to the Lord and asked for guidance and forgiveness. Because they don’t have real faith.
If you can’t convince yourself that you’re sincere then that’s your problem. You’re probably just a mental case. If you’re sincere about your faith then you won’t find the need to prove anything and you’ll have a clean conscience.
Sincere people, I believe, practice their faith in private when there’s nobody around.
I never said that or anything similar to that. You are a sad, pathetic little troll and you know damn well you don’t have a right to put words in my mouth and make-up false quotes with my username on it.
I don’t need hope when I have knowledge. My sincerity only lies in the knowledge that I am being sincere. I don’t need to do “good things in private” to know that I’m sincere in my beliefs. Praying in private, I said, is only a sign of sincerity.
Do either of these “paragraphs” ring a bell to you?

“I’ll be a greasy fat disgusting swine my whole life but at least I can hide behind a screen and try to make strangers upset over the internet” -OK_karen
