No, its not just you, I always assume that anyone that uses the term "Brown" is a literal racist, who pretends to love minorities, but still think white people are superior. I've been right so far.
I feel the same way. Brown seems so racist to me for some reason, maybe because it lumps in so many very different ethnicities together (Hispanic, Middle Eastern, Pacific Islander, etc) into one “color.”
Well with Asians we can just say Asians. No need for yellow. But there are a variety of brown people from various countries and continents so I suppose that's why it's still used.

Guess I should just boil it down to black or brown. The latter covers most Latinos and Hispanics as well as Muslims.
