I don't think Trump's quarantine is about covid. If you were about to take down a global criminal network capable of staging the most heinous of crimes I couldn't think of a better excuse to stay out of the public.
There's a reason soldiers don't wear bright neon clothing. There's a reason why we invented long range weapons. There's a reason why generals aren't on the front lines. Sure, maybe I'm wrong, but can you think of a better situation if you were about to arrest global billionaire criminals? With unlimited funds, they could retaliate with terrorist actions. These threats are actually minimized with covid. People aren't gathering en masse. They also can't escape to China or wherever else they may go as easily.
