I believe doses get further apart as the medication builds within your system. I don't think HCQ lasts that long, but maybe another pede can shed light.
Check places like India, where the stuff worked superbly (head start since it is used as an anti-malarial drug). It seems like the poorer countries that used the less expensive HCQ had much better results/fatality rates than countries that avoided using it. Big Pharma and their lackeys didn't like it because it could interfere with their profiteering.
