Mind blown.

Seriously - just dwell on that one for a bit. Let all the implications and details of the analogy sink in.

telling lies with the "truth".

We've really gone thru the looking glass, haven't we? Props to The Bee for this shot across the bow to try to wake us up to that fact and pull us back.

(Edit: *bow)

Yeah Satan is the father of all lies. He is able to tell the truth and still be lying.

So what does all the truth in the world mean when it all serves Satan when it comes to the world? I'm talking artificial fake, humanistic world, not the natural world of God's domain

Raised bread, especially. It's placing itself higher than the flatbreads.

I only eat brown bread, so my white guilt is toast.

"self rising" is a dog whistle. cutting off the crusts is a hate crime.

Our local UU church has a big "Black Lives Matter" sign on it.

Our local UU “church” led anti Korean War rallies in the ‘50s! Commies posing as Christians. It’s spread since then. Looking at you, Episcopalians.

Episcopalianism is basically a vaccine against becoming Christian. You think you have religion but don't have to do or believe anything.

I just remember how the Episcopal church in my town transformed itself into a beacon of lesbian priestess wokeness. (Not that there’s anything wrong with that..) I thought it was funny until my own Latvian Orthodox Church (I like the hats) went bonkers after HRC lost. Bonkers!

Not sure why they couldn't. Their MO is to start with one or two broad facts and then write about 3 paragraphs of opinions. So it'd be basically 1) the bible exists and then 2) their take on it.

That is really good.

What the devil told Jesus in the desert werent lies...He was the son of God and COULD have turned stones into bread. It was a temptation.

So in the above scenario, Snopes would be technically correct but ignoring the larger context.

I thought the Bee was fake news?

Satire requires a nugget of truth to be funny. :)
