It's a textbook "color revolution"

Russia and China share nearly identical views that colour revolutions are the product of machinations by the United States and other Western powers and pose a vital threat to their public and national security.

Some say the technique is a favorite of glowies, so there you go. They are using it on us now.

  1. A semi-autocratic rather than fully autocratic regime
  1. An unpopular incumbent
  1. A united and organized opposition
  1. An ability quickly to drive home the point that voting results were falsified
  1. Enough independent media to inform citizens about the falsified vote
  1. A political opposition capable of mobilizing tens of thousands or more demonstrators to protest electoral fraud
  1. Divisions among the regime’s coercive forces.

Many of these are in place - and they are faking others - Trump is more popular than the lying media portrays, for example.
