It's hard to admit that these people are so sick they think nothing of keeping disturbed kids in school with access to firearms after numerous red flags just so they can push their political agenda on gun control. They cry that we must pass laws like so-called red flag laws that wouldn't have helped with this kid, but are good for taking guns away from people by just making up one bullshit incident and calling it a red flag.
It's also hard to imagine that parents would be so unbelievably political that they'd have a facsimile of their dead child deliver their political message.

These events were not "staged", they actually happened. All it took was turning a blind eye towards a disturbed individual, egging him on every time he got away with something worse and worse. Far from getting punished he felt he was being rewarded with increased attention every time he did something bad.
Now these parents get their 15 minutes because they worked with some media experts to get their message out by abusing their dead child's memory. They really, truly, are that shallow. All they want is to have other people tell them they are making a difference.
So I guess in that sense you could say it's "produced" but it is not "staged". Children died because adults used them as political pawns.
