And rightfully so. Dude was a gem of an actor and person.

But it makes me wonder.... If he was just a random white dude... Would Twitter be defending him and seeking justice? It was a black man that punched him.

Does BLM not count when it's someone you like? I mean, I've lost count of all the recent hate crimes on white people that have gone unnoticed lately.

Of course not. The "knockout game" has been popular in cities like NYC, Baltimore, and St. Louis for over a decade. Black youths have been killing elderly folks via this method for over a decade now.
