There is a saying, a smart man learns from his own mistakes, a wise man learns from the mistakes of others. For this reason I love to learn from history be it unfolding or long since forgotten by the masses. One thing I’d like to know, but have no idea where to begin looking is how celebrities both minor and major are treated after a communist takeover by the people.

Can anyone, especially those that have lived through a communist regime, tell what befell them? Or recommend where to start reading on the topic.
