I'd rather the President not mess with experimental drugs. My dad took experimental drugs to help further research when he was dying of leukemia. That was his decision and that's fine but my dad wasn't the leader of the free world.

I'd say he's trying to show faith in these treatments to calm fears and hype enthusiasm so it maybe gets Governors to start seeing the writing on the wall and let us have our lives back. If he can take this treatment, anyone can and there's no reason to keep distancing, wearing masks and locking things down.

But of course, even if that's the case, the left will say this is al staged, he doesn't really have it and this is all to promote their "rushed vaccines and treatments" so they can have an excuse to end the lockdowns prematurely.
