They're not supportive of Trump though. I've explained the dynamic many times before, but it's basically this.
There is going to be a large amount of people who won't watch the unified media (CNN/NBC/ABC/MSNBC/CBS/etc.). So they use FOX news to capture that viewership. Now they get all the revenue that comes from that viewership, and they can slyly try to manipulate, and they can still pretty much control what these people see, even if they can't sell them the unified media message of orange man bad.
Of course, that doesn't mean all the anchors or people who work there are cucked. Tucker Carlson being the best example. Tucker does and says whatever he wants, and because of how beloved he is, and his massive ratings, they can't actually just get rid of him. There would be enormous backlash if they did.
Personally, and this is just conjecture on my part, but I think they have a hand in the campaigns against Tucker. I think the uniparty leadership wants him gone, and are trying to manufacture a situation where they can get rid of him because of some scandal or something, since he badly damages the mainstream narratives every night and tells the people the truth.
There's a candid video "Tucker Carlson Fly-Fishing in Central Park" from when he was new to Fox, his reaction starts like "oh shit the new channel didn't warn me about paparazzi" and then he's just a normal guy talking about fishing once he figures it's just some YouTuber who doesn't recognize him.
He may have a surgically incisive grip on rhetoric that few men do, but he's as down-to-earth as he presents himself (and losing the bowtie did him favors in that respect).

100%. Tucker must be squeaky clean or we would have heard about some past impropriety. When they can't refute the message, they attack the man.

They tried with some baseless sexual allegations that fizzled out faster than Hillary's firework show in 2016
