I was chatting with a friend tonight, and he said that it was poetic justice that President Trump got COVID-19, and that he "hoped for the worst". I told him that wishing death on our President - who was duly elected to be this country's leader - makes him a terrible person (as bad as anyone he has ever criticized) and is a big middle finger to all the citizens who exercised their right to vote for the person they thought best represented them.
I haven't heard a peep from him since, and I'm pretty sure the friendship is over. He's always been a decent guy, and it's sad that he's turned into such a nasty person. I've lost so many friends over the past four years.

Mine too. I’m the oldest of 9 children in an Irish Catholic Family and after my two younger sisters came back from LSU they infected my parents with liberal bullshit. The parents were heavily involved in our church and went from that to pussy hat and anti Trump marches and voting for everything the opposite of the morality of the church they raised us all in. Me and my sister are the two Republicans (and by FAR the most $$$ successful) and we are just tolerated. I moved to Texas but my sister still lives there and they don’t invite her to family functions unless they have too. They treat her like an outcast. I can’t believe it has turned out this way. Liberalism is pure Evil

I feel your pain! I’m the only conservative in my family. They actually told me that all I have to do to be included is LOWER my moral compass!!! I refuse so I’m an outcast. I’m in Texas too!
