I haven’t kept up with rush but I remember he came down with some health issues. Lung cancer if I’m not mistaken. What happened with all that is he doing alright or doesn’t talk about it?
He spoke of it when he got the original diagnosis, because he disappeared off the air for about a week, if I remember correctly. Everyone was worried because Rush takes very little time off. He doesn't talk about it other than to let listeners know when he can't be on the air. We all know it's for treatments, but it's kind of unspoken. Rush has said he doesn't want to be known as a "cancer patient" and bore everyone with the gritty details.
