Season one was great, not much politics. And so far most of season 2 hasn't had a whole lot of in your face politics.. But it just swung hard.
Good point. I'm just so frustrated because most shows today start of crazy from the start so its easy to avoid it, like ST:Discovery (aptly abbreviated STD). I thought we were past taking a good show and ruin it half way through. (ex. Smallville)

I always had a sneaking suspicion about the show. The idea that super heroes would be corrupted by businesses and not government is so antithetical to reality. It’s government that gets away with atrocities with no repercussions.
