Heh, my parents HOA has the same policy. Idiot near the entry to their little loop has a BLM sign up. Being as my parents follow the rules, and believe everyone else should as well, they report it to the HOA... HOA being run by a flaming liberal doesn't really do anything besides repeatedly issuing warnings and say "We can't really do anything about it."

So guess who spent $2k on blue lives matter and Trump signs and passed it out to all the other neighbors... Guess they didn't know they're little liberal islands in Maga Country.

Now the HOA woman is stuck issuing warnings with no consequences to basically everyone in the neighborhood because she already set a precedent for political signs in writing.

It's a nightmare. I have no idea why anyone lives in a place that has them. Some take a percentage of the sale of your house, when you go to leave.

Some of my relatives have lived in HOAs and judging from the horror stories I've heard I will assume what you did here isn't allowed either. I still like it though.

Is clothing a sign?

Just hang a Trump shirt to dry. Forever.

not an attorney, but....if that rule was added after you signed the hoa contract, you may not be obliged to follow it; ex post facto law: (from the wiki) ex post facto law (corrupted from Latin: ex postfacto, lit. 'out of the aftermath') is a law that retroactively changes the legal consequences (or status) of actions that were committed, or relationships that existed, before the enactment of the law.

HOA can't ban American flags. The Freedom to Display the American Flag Act of 2005 makes it illegal for an HOA to ban Old Glory.

If you live in wildfire country consider removing that bark away from your house! If not, your lucky!
