While it's in the realm of possibility, I highly doubt it. Do they have a way with testing to see who got it from who? Not that it really matters at this point. How many times since March, have they had either press conferences, mtgs, etc at the white house without much incident. I think I remember only 1 secret service member and perhaps one staff member getting covid. So these protocols have plenty of opportunity to be honed and the result till this point has been the two infections I am aware of.
The two places that have been mentioned on the news are the Amy Coney Barret nomination and the Debates... so
I don't think "anyone" infected that many people because to do so you'd have to be able to come into contact with everyone and have enough of a viral load to infect all of them. To do so while still being negative on the test.
Was the food at the event or what not infected on purpose. No secret agents have tested positive and in an event like that , they are on watch not eating the finger food. I remember seeing staff / contractors prior to the event that seemed "out of place". Also, could the microphone at the debates have had a device of some sort on the microphone that Trump was using to release the virus in the air.
I think this was done specifically to thwart the Barret nomination b/c this is the one event where the republican senate leadership was there. I think specifically they were going to target Amy but failed to get that she already had corona virus or they were trying to basically decimate enough of the republican senate leadership for the judicial committee. They probably figured if we can get Coney Barret infected, she was going to meet with everyone on the republican side and potentially infect them ... did you see that those on the left were not wanting to meet with her.
After this failed, they went full boar and decided infect the microphone at the debates. If there is a super spreader, then both sides would have been impacted. That it is so one sided.. sure 3 members of the media got infected but you kind of have to at least try to make it look a bit random but there is no way this happened with all the checks in place.
How many world leaders , others have met with the president and inner council no issues. How many senators/representatives flying back and forth from dc no real issues.
