Boeing ALREADY makes a lot of 787’s in SC. They are saying that going forward they will be making ALL of them in SC. So you can see that it’s a distinction without a difference. WA is losing what 787 business it had. SC will be gaining whatever future 787 business there will be. “Boeing Consolidates in SC, closing WA for 787” is a paraphrase.

They were planning to move to SC since 2009. COVID/protest just made it easy.

Plus there will not be much business for a while.
