We did keep in contact for a while after that, but she wasn't really on the internet then like I was, so it made it kind of difficult and the fact that I was from Alabama and they were from Missouri.
I'll still never forget where they came from -- Steelville, Missouri. I might have that spelling incorrect, but I'll never forget the name
I still have those bad boys somewhere! I'll call my mom and see if she can't dig them out so I can post a picture! The only difference between those boxes and mine was that instead of the picture of the M&M mascot on the front it was a presidential seal like you see on that other box, but everything else was identical!
Sometimes, I think we were meant to hold on to that simpler early love and grow together, instead of picking a life direction first and then trying to make someone fit into it!
The deliberate destruction of the West: women being told to go for that career and "don't destroy your future by having kids early (or ever)", and men being treated as dumb and useless and replaced as the head of the household by the State and courts. It's now so obvious, but is it too late?
