I'm thinking that our GEOTUS would have ended up at Walter Reed for proper checks anyway. Proper checks like, X-Rays, blood work, maybe a bit of a workout while wired up if his symptoms stayed mild... that kind of thing. I don't mean right now, but in a few days whether his symptoms got worse or not. It makes sense to me that the conversation may have gone: "Sir, you can either go to Walter Reed now, while you're still walking... or you can chance going there in a wheelchair should things progress quickly, possibly through any of the next few nights. Either way, you will need to go to Walter Reed even if only for checks. So, how do you want to be seen going there, Sir?" Just my take. Oh, and TRUMP 2020!!!

Since POTUS'S primary focus right now is the election, he probably decided to take the course of action that will help him shed the virus the fastest. The physicians around him have been pushing Remdesivir, so he went with that. It has to be administered intravenously in a hospital setting. I just hope the President is getting good advice on this.
