The same cannot be said of many kids in my generation.
And it would damage and kill the same ratios today- witness the toddler who died after the Disneyland outbreak exposure, and they had every advanced treatment via Stanford for care. If one out of 20 died today, imafine how bad it was with 1960s and earlier medical options.
I worked for a pharma co for 15 years, they did the testing kits- and I am more than leary of this covid vaxx scam and not going anywhere near it. 5 years of tests and follow up before anyone should expect ANY vaxx of safe value for anything- and they've never managed ANY coronavirus vaxx that didn't kill the host (you) as they mutate too fast.
I don't do the flu one either, not worth it, and the HPV one is suss as fuck too. And they had a bad batch of whooping cough vaxxes given over a decade ago they tried to hide- until outbreaks happened and spread to "vaxxed" kids in the 5-12 years range.
The rest? They need to do less at a time and space them out more. That will fix 90% of the reactions. But they are beyond valuable in saving children's health and lives.

Well I can't tell you if it saved me from polio, but my polio vaccination is the only scar I have had that's lasted 50 years.
