I hope the next trump pick is Lagoa or Rushing, preferably Rushing.

Still too young. Tucker will need to do it.

You say too young I say more time being an intellectual heavyweight for American causes.

But yes some people won't like that

jubyeonin 7 points ago +7 / -0

Too young means she is both young and she needs more cases. Even Lagoa would be considered young and she's 50 and has a good record.

The South will rise again, early on November 3rd to cast our Trump ballots.

He will. I just hope he will be replaced by someone as awesome as he is. One of the rare interviews he gave (to Laura Ingraham, in 2017):

My liberal buddy stumped me with this one actually.. Could a pede explain to me why accepting ballots a few days late, that were postmarked ON TIME, is a bad thing?

27
Runebeowulf 27 points ago +27 / -0

Gives'em more time to "find" ballots to force the election results they want. Or rather, once they know what the real results are, produce enough ballots to win.

18
p8riot 18 points ago +18 / -0

And backdate the postmark fraudulently, is that the implication?

Early voting means you vote early so that they can get there before election day and they all get counted. It is your responsibility to send it so it counts. Imagine the polls closing at 8pm and you show up at 8:05pm to vote. Stuff can happen along the way, but it's your responsibility to be there on time. When I was a pollworker, I turned people away for being late. We have a process.

bigtimepie 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yup, doesn't matter if you left your house before 8. If you show up after 8, you're late.

If your mailed ballot shows up 3 days late, you shoulda mailed it 3 days earlier.

The postal machine in my office has an internet connection but will still function without a connection, it just tracks how much postage you last had and won't work once that's gone until it reconnects. There is an option to set the date and time for offline use.

Anyone that thinks receiving ballots based on postmark instead of receipt date is a good idea is a smoothbrain.

Thank you for this great and scary info, just shows how easy the fraud is to commit.

I wonder if part of the reason Potus picked Barrett is because picking Lagoa would leave a vacancy on the 11th circuit, leaving it almost tied, while Barrett's circuit is more conservative, plenty of Trump and Reagan judges but only 1 each for Obama and Clinton.

quite a bit of 'em too.

jubyeonin 4 points ago +4 / -0

So Lagoa was so good that she couldn't get the job? Feelsbadman.

7
HuggableBear 7 points ago +7 / -0

Not Lagoa specifically, more like we couldn't spare anyone at all from that circuit.

YoLLamaIsSoFat 2 points ago +2 / -0

Kinda like Cruz tbh. We need him where he is.

Choppermagic 10 points ago +10 / -0

Lagoa making her case for the next seat simply BY DOING HER JOB!

Judges are 100% his greatest legacy. For this alone we need 4 more years.

Can we file taxes with the same deadlines-ish?

2
bigtimepie 2 points ago +2 / -0

How about no federal income tax. Divide the federal budget by house representation and send an invoice to the states.

Let the states fund the swamp in a way that is proportionate to representation, with whatever kind of tax they deem most appropriate for their local economies.

Don't vote by mail. Even if it has to arrive by Nov 3, doesn't mean individual postal workers won't throw out the Republican ballots, and keep only dem ballots

4
H4yw1r3 4 points ago +4 / -0

Its not hard fuckers. Mail your shit in early. If you're such a lazy fuck that you procrastinate and mail it in the day its due... well maybe you shouldn't be voting. You wouldn't mail in your rent check the day its due would you?

4
HuggableBear 4 points ago +4 / -0

The people who would do this absolutely mail their rent checks late.

jubyeonin 4 points ago +4 / -0

The Supreme Court Justice we should have had. 🇺🇸

I'm optimistic that Trump gets 2 more picks in his next term 😎

4
Nalgahyde 4 points ago +4 / -0

This is what needs to happen everywhere. Ballots should arrive before election day to count as per the U.S. Constitution that says the election will take place in all states on the same day. Any vote or "found" boxes of votes arriving after election day should be considered voided.

Let’s go!!!!!! This made me smile :-) great news pede!!!!!!

I'm no fan of women in general as heads of state, but Lagos does seem amazing I'll admit.

3
Italians_Invented_2A 3 points ago +3 / -0

Lagoa also ruled that felons with outstanding debts cannot vote.

Two great rulings for us coming from Lagoa. She's based.

2
PraiseBeToScience 2 points ago +2 / -0

Good.

Like, I get it - if they were postmarked before election day, technically they were cast before the election.

But the nightmare world of waiting for ballots to trickle in is unacceptable. Too bad so sad. You have weeks to mail in your ballot, fucking do it.

I think it'll be funny as hell if mail-in voting backfires enormously on the left.

  1. Old people are more likely to prefer mail-in voting, and they have nothing to do all day so they'll get their ballots out.

  2. Like 20% of all mail-in ballots get discarded for errors or inconsistencies. Fucking imagine being able to just take 20% right off their vote totals.

  3. About 2% of all mail gets lost.

  4. A shitload of people are going to keep saying "I'm going to do this later" and throw the ballot out or forget about it.

  5. Most of those people are going to be shitlibs terrified of the virus, since all the Trump supporters won't give a shit and will go vote in person.

1
flashersenpai 1 point ago +1 / -0

Even then, there are locations where you can deliver ballots in person without sending them through the post office to compete with general mail.

Ferrous_Tarkus 1 point ago +1 / -0

Lagoa should be the next pic.
