Why so long?

1st DMV visit (2 hours)

Months ago I tried to register having moved back to PA from MA. Because I was in the system in my maiden name, they demanded to see a marriage license.

2nd visit (2 hours)

Brought the marriage certificate. Had been married oversees. They said I needed a translated, notarized version.

3rd visit (1 hour)

Brought a translated, notarized copy but they rejected because it was cut off from the printer at the bottom. In disgust, I drove back to MA to get my passport in my MARRIED name.

Today (5 hours)

With the new passport, they didn't need the marriage certificate. They literally said a passport “TRUMPS” all other documentation!!!

LOL - this literally was my last chance - you have to be a resident for 30 days to vote (unless you’re a cheating Democrat).

Pedes - I didn’t vote in the last election at all but I’d walk to hell and back for Trump this time (and I think I kinda did!)
