I know I saw a news report earlier stating that they changed the distance from 7 to 12 feet and they’d now be sitting, but damned if I can find it now. Now the only ones I can find mention the distance.
Either they changed the article or I’m going crazy. <shrug> Guess I was wrong.
They didn't change the debate rules. Sitting was always the rule. The distance they will be sitting apart was what changed.
Another Biden campaign request -- that Pence and Harris stand for the debate rather than sit -- was denied. Having them seated was the preference of the Trump campaign, according to Politico.
Some Democrat analyst crunched the numbers and found out Harris is somehow more likable while sitting than standing, and Pence is less effective if he isn't standing...or so they figure.
Pence is going to destroy her. He will be calm af doing it. I remember how he slayed Tim Kaine while Tim was foaming at the mouth.
They sat last time too.
As within, so without.

If Pence is taller, yeah
Trump would win sitting or standing. Sitting like the boss that he is in the board room.
