I have rosacea too, it's very frustrating. There are a ton of triggers for the redness that are nearly impossible to avoid, leaving one with reddened skin that's very difficult to cover up. While you are here you eat what we provide, are subject to frequent interruptions, lack privacy, and are limited in your ability to do normal things. The gown represent that power differential. I think it's inappropriate to make the most powerful man in the world wear such a hierarchical garment.
