I am a CVICU nurse and had wondered if POTUS would wear the gown. I wouldn't make him. Gowns represent a power differential. While you are here you eat what we provide, are subject to frequent interruptions, lack privacy, and are limited in your ability to do normal things. The gown represent that power differential. I think it's inappropriate to make the most powerful man in the world wear such a hierarchical garment.

Besides, he doesn’t need one. Gowns are for dressing people who are immobile or have tubes that must be dealt with while performing cares. The President is healthy.
