Getting ready to try and watch the train wreck that is SNL these days. I'm sure they will start with something political and horribly biased about Trump. I will have my finger on the mute button if I see a political sketch. I still like the truly funny, non-political stuff. I read the audience will be small. Chris Rock is hosting. I normally don't watch the musical guests. I'm in my 50s. Never heard of most of them.

The last skit that showed any originality and comic brilliance was "Cork Soaking Class" with Janet Jackson. Since then, SNL has been just abysmal.

Why the fuck even waste your time? SNL hasn't been funny since the early 90's. It's just become a liberal circle jerk.

I tried, but yep, they are a lost cause. Negativity, hatefulness and an obsession with Trump. Sad waste of some actual talent.

Do we really need Chapelle (in his "8:46 Special”) and Chris Rock (in the SNL monologue today) to lecture us about what is "wrong with this country"? Neither got ONE SINGLE LAUGH. We also need to develop a NEW relationship with comedians!
