Republicans screw up daily. But when Dems are the alternative, it's easy to overlook their screw ups.

Again?

They’ve been on the wrong side of everything since the 1830s. I’m a southerner from and old southern family. We’ve NEVER voted dem and that’s something I’m proud of. There was a time that was a very unpopular position in the south.

We need to watch out for RINOs. It's in the Dem playbook to run as Republicans. I think the Bush's, Bob Dole, McCain, Romney were all RINOs, which makes Trump the first independent non deepstate Republican to run since Reagan.

Damn right.

Republicans take note: You've only earned my vote FOR NOW. If you fuck up, I'm out. This is what happened with the Dems. They threw me in the garbage and won't ever get another one of my votes.

Republicans have my vote for now. Until they deviate from the MAGA agenda!!

All i want to know is when cutting spending and cutting the national debt becomes apart of the MAGA agenda. I know many of you are former dems, but this countries spending is out of control and trump is just adding to it. Legit my only complaint with Trump is his one promise of not cutting spending and getting it under control. As great as he is, and I will bet I am more openly pr trump than a single person in this country. But that doesnt mean i can't hold him accountable for his words as well. He has been great in many area, the spending he has been as bad as any dem.

i mean he’s the first non swamp monster to win the presidency but there have been a few good men who tried for the republican presidential nomination in the past few decades. namely ron paul and his son, rand

You vote those assholes out in the primary. In the general I just vote straight ticket.

I used to not be like that but Democrats will do what their masters tell them. They are no longer an option.

Val1516 2 points ago +2 / -0

Again? I never considered voting for the lying, corruption and death party. Ever.

2
FormerLibTears 2 points ago +2 / -0

Same! Last election I voted a straight blue ticket. NEVER AGAIN. I have seen the evil and the light.

Remember, it's not about party - it's about electing ACTUAL CONSERVATIVES.

Long story here so buckle up. I'm from Illinois, and I've seen it happen here so many times the pattern is blatantly obvious.

Democrats screw things up so the people elect a Republican to fix it. Only the people don't pay attention to anything that person says except that (R) next to their name. Lo and behold, that Republican is just as liberal as the Democrats they just expelled from office. Well after 4, or if they're lucky 8, years later, those liberal policies the Republican has been enacting CONTINUE screwing things up. So the people inevitably elect a Democrat to try and fix it.

All the while - liberals are in charge and endlessly screw things up. You know the definition of insanity, right?

Screw party loyalty - VOTE MAGA and nothing else.

I will never take a politician's word for what they espouse again; I will look at their personal history, their record in office (if any) and I will listen to what they have to say, but I will never choose to simply trust anyone seeking public office again, ESPECIALLY if they have been in office for years. I see the Swamp now.

The Republicans will disappoint you. No doubt about it. But compared to the frankly wretched alternative, it's the right thing. Congrats for realizing that.

the republicans in congress are fuck ups too. good luck with that.

I would love to see a 'none of the above candidate' on the federal ballot. If NoTA gets a plurality of votes, the seat is vacant. If there is no quorum in the house/senate no laws are passed and things like the budget are carried forward with an across the board, automatic 10% reduction. Only bill allowed is a true declaration of war. If no President, the governors select a caretaker who has no authority to sign bills other than declarations of war. Put it in the Constitution and give the American taxpayer a true voice.

I voted for Obama twice, was tempted in 2016 to vote for Trump but passed, then by 2018, I voted a red ticket for the first time in my life, and will now continue to do so. I'm not only voting for Trump this time around, but I'm excited to do it. I've never felt like that about any vote. Republicans are crap too a lot of the time, but Trump has shown that they can be bent back to the fundamental values of this country way more easily than Democrats.

When did you decide to vote republican, and what was the main factor that caused you to do so?

2
aDickWithGoodIntent 2 points ago +2 / -0

There's literally only a handful of good repubs....

I'm with you though, straight ticket R all the way down ballot.

Let the demoncraps know they done fucked up.

2
The-nii 2 points ago +2 / -0

Welcome home. Why did you ever vote Dem?

12
AnotherFormerDem [S] 12 points ago +12 / -0

2 reasons: One is because George W. Bush and Mitt Romney were giant pieces of shit. The other is because I didn't know how badly the MSM was gaslighting me.

I take back everything I ever said about Sarah Palin and Ted Cruz. God bless them both.

5
The-nii 5 points ago +5 / -0

They were. I wish more pedes like you got involved in the primaries. After that, we have to vote for the Bush’s, the Romney’s, etc. The enemy of the good is the perfect.

Republicans will have to fuck up so badly there's a whole new party created just for me to vote for because that's how anti-democrat I am now. (Started 2018 with Brett Kavanaugh - My first ever election Straight R ticket)

LunaSky 1 point ago +1 / -0

The swamp is on all sides. Vote MAGA down the ticket.
