I was thinking phone keyboard, but the QWERTY he almost definitely(?) uses still puts the caps lock key on the left, with L and I on the right.
Unless he’s using a Morse code keyboard, in which case the letter L is actually .-.. if typed together, but that could be several different things with a gap in it..
Yes, if QWERTY then it's not a typo. Maybe Dan tweeted it just 2 get our minds off our President being in the hospital. Someone who tweets for him likes doing this sort of thing.

Prior to the science, The President (played by Canadian, Bruce Greenwood) specifically tells treasure hunter, Ben Gates, to pay particular attention to, or Llook, at page 47.
