What ammo do you prefer for this pocket cannon? I shot some hot .357 round and it left bruises on my hand. So I backed down to some 38 Special +P

I run 38+ P hollow points but practise with 38 handloads. (This is not the 357 variation.) When new, I ran a full box of the +P hollow points to zero it in and they drew blood on the web of my hand. It's pretty uncomfortable to shoot, "SNAPPY" to say the least :-)
