Huh. So I did a little digging with the Inspect tool in the Brave browser.. Turns out the servers are reporting back a status of 413. "Requested Entity Too Large". (Insert trollface.jpg here)
So either the acceptable file size has shrunk or something in my browser is padding the image size and drastically increasing it.

Crop and save it as a new image, then try again
