Gratz Pede. I tried to get a glock myself and had to settle for a Walther PPQ M2. My bro owns a glock and says my gun vomits spray out the ejection hole. Yours doesn't sneeze tons of powder like mine. It's a good starter. Less burnt powder to mace yourself by accident.

Walther PPQ M2 is a fantastic gun. Sounds like your problem might be the ammo and not the gun.
