To any staffer or policy maker, Chief of Staff (MM), please share with President Trump.

Veterans Benefits should NEVER expire, but they still do. Many US military veterans have life circumstances that prevent them from using their benefits immediately out of military service. I’m imploring to POTUS to continue fighting for us.

On Aug 16, 2017 President Trump signed the “Forever Post 9/11 GI Bill” creating lifetime benefits for only SOME veterans. These benefits should apply to ALL of our nations hero’s and never EXPIRE. If Nancy Pelosi and Chuckie Schumer can bail out failed Democratic states and the airlines, if Obama can bail out the crooked banks, the greatest nation on earth should be able to stand behind their heroes and ensure they get the benefits they earned!

When President Trump signed the bill in 2017, these crooked lawmakers KNEW any veterans that still had remaining benefits from their service, would find them expired by using Jan 1, 2013 as an expiration date and Sept 11, 2001 as a qualified service date. Rep. Phil Roe, R-Tenn Chair of House Committee on Veterans Affairs falsely claimed “This legislation will enable veterans to use the education benefits they’ve earned through the GI Bill when and how it suits them best, setting them up for future success in whatever career they pursue.” What he meant was “SOME” veterans. You may have been serving your country on 9-11 and find yourself without any benefits, while those who served after you enjoy a lifetime benefit.

MY STORY: I along with the crew of USS Princeton (CG-59) deployed April 3, 2001 to support the USS Nimitz (CVN 68) Carrier Strike Group which included flight operations over Afghanistan as part of Operation Enduring Freedom. We were sitting of the coast of Pakistan, approximately 12nm from their border when we saw the towers come down on the video screens inside Combat Information Center. I stood watch with sailors who saw their families die in real time. I along with my crew of more than 325 personnel then conducted sustained flight operations and delivering tomahawk justice over Afghanistan as part of Operation Enduring Freedom. For those of us who returned home after our enlistment, we find ourselves cut out of the Post 9/11 GI BILL 10 years and then 3 years later.

We should not be putting a time limit on benefits (period). If your service ended before Jan 1, 2013, your Post 9-11 GIB Bill benefits now expire 15 years after your separation date. They used to expire at 10 years, and then they added a measly 3 years. How convenient they expire around the same time a dependent becomes an adult, meaning once an empty nester and having sacrificed yourself for your children, you discover you can no longer use your VA benefits. Pardon me as I digress.

I’ll take this one step further, we should not be qualifying ANY benefit to when a service member served (period). That includes our heroes from Vietnam, Korea, etc. Dividing us up into identity groups is the left’s tactics of control. Do not let them get away with it with our veterans. If we can print money and hand it over to big banks, we can at least thank our veterans for their service.

You don’t think 15 years is enough to get a degree??? How long did you serve? I’m a veteran. I served for nearly 25 years. What you said is nothing but bullshit. If you qualify for the benefits you will get it. Stop spreading fake news. Yes, if your service ended before 2013 your benefits will expire after 15 years. But that’s a LOT OF TIME. It used to be 10 years under the Montgomery GI Bill. There’s a lot of us that went to school WHILE on Active Duty. Each of us have very different circumstances but I don’t think you know the meaning of sacrifice. Posts like this really infuriate me. You sound like an entitled bitch. GI Bill benefits DO NOT EXPIRE anymore. There is a cap and you’re only eligible for for 36 months of benefits. But they do not expire anymore. Are you sure you’re a veteran? GTFOH!! I’m using my benefits now.

THANK YOU FOR PROVING ME RIGHT!!! A fellow shipmate of mine is staying with me as he builds his house. We agreed that we’d attract a cuck who would say the same thing, as you did. We know your type. You see, we ALL have different life circumstances and there’s people like you who seek to DIVIDE us, as the left intends. There are people like you who feel they somehow sacrificed more. You didn’t. You were fortunate enough that your life circumstances allowed you to capitalize on your benefits in time. Let me break it to you, those who sacrificed the most are our brothers in the ground - not you.

The simple truth is that our benefits expired, our sacrifices did not.

There are thousands of people, just like me, who are petitioning for THEIR benefits. I do not stand alone. Congratulations that your life circumstances allowed you to take advantage of the benefits - not everyone is so lucky. You should be ASHAMED for not sticking up for your fellow veterans from all foreign wars, let alone, all veterans who served.

If you’d like to meetup, I’ll gladly show you my DD214 and expect you to apologize and rally to our cause. I’m in Virginia, bring your DD214 and your fury.

I’ll be in VA in December. We can meet up then. You didn’t get what I said about the 15 year time limit. It used to be 10 years. And it was not an issue then. That’s 15 years!!! And that’s AFTER 2013. How long did you serve? You mean to tell me you didn’t do shit to better yourself and now you feel entitled to get more?? 😒 You really sound like an entitled bitch.

Forgot to add... show me section 12 and 24 of your DD214 and I’ll tell you if you’re really an entitled bitch or not.
