When I check a trailer for a movie or series to torrent I can’t help noticing all black casts now with the token white guy so there’s zero black on black violence in imaginationland

One that bugged me was Lion King remake. All the lions are voiced by black people, because?... If a black person had the best voice for the role then sweet, no problem. But every single one of them, including friggin Beyonce. And the less said of the 2018 remake of Jesus Christ Superstar the better, that was just pure trash.

They should have hired real lions then. This is just more whitewashing of traditional lion roles.
