I ran a police agency evidence vault for several years, so I have handled more and varied firearms (although not shot them all) than many alleged/self-professed “experts”, and was also a firearms instructor in ya agency.

Nerds firearms always seemed to be well-constructed and had nice fit and finish, from the various examples I have seen. I had to opportunity to shoot one once, a long time ago, and it functioned well, with out any problems that I can recall.

Some people are just gun snobs.
