im in CA too, PSA ships full kits to your door. just pick up a lower receiver if you can find one locally , if not , order online and transfer through your local gun shop. no biggie.

Thanks! I’ve never done it but I’m very interested. Do you have a website or info on how to build one and have it registered “legally” in CA? I hope they don’t require builds to follow those retarded “assault weapon” nerfs like in the CA approved sell list.

AR15 . com is a good place to get info, and there are plenty of vids on youtube.

You don't have to register an AR in California if it has the lame paddle grip, and you can use detachable mags.

You have to get a lower through a FFL.

Thanks! So if I don’t want the stupid paddle grip I can still build it in CA and register it?

No you still "register" the lower, but not as an assault weapon.

If you go with the fixed 10 round mag, it must be registered seperately and you can't quickly reload, including standard cap mags.

Best stock option is from these guys.
