TEXinLA 102 points ago +103 / -1

Yup. Big Trump support on Long Island.

And lotsa big trucks that probably don't live in the City.

85
Shakakka99 85 points ago +85 / -0

Long Islander here. We love the man BIGLY.

13
Worldtraveler0405 13 points ago +14 / -1

Hamptons or Queens?

18
potatofarm 18 points ago +18 / -0

Hamptons resident here. A lot of the locals are Trump supporters, but we've had an influx of people moving here from the city, so we shall see. Suffolk County in general is pretty right leaning, while Nassau county is left leaning.

3
Shakakka99 3 points ago +3 / -0

Middle of Suffolk County

3
Strike_Eagle784 3 points ago +3 / -0

Western Suffolk here, can confirm. Trump flags everywhere!

41
VinnyMAGA 41 points ago +41 / -0

Weird the article says out-of-staters but I do see NY plates.

53
CA-Patriot 53 points ago +53 / -0

They consider Long Island to be out of state...

16
VinnyMAGA 16 points ago +16 / -0

Cause it's so red!

6
potatofarm 6 points ago +6 / -0

Suffolk County is red. Unfortunately Nassau County is blue.

Or did I read it wrong? Crap.

2
StumpSmasher2 2 points ago +2 / -0

There were probably at least some people from Jersey.

13
slaphappy2 13 points ago +13 / -0

Hey - I support Trump bigly and I live in the City AND Long Island all at once.

And I am a fifteen minute walk from the Donald's old high school.

Yes - it is the Donald's hometown of QUEENS, NY !

7
TEXinLA 7 points ago +7 / -0

Nice...

Only been to the City once. Had a job interview and spent nights on Long Island. Was there for a few days, rode the subway, walked around, and partied. Don't know if I saw Queens...

Then went back to Texas. But I enjoyed it. People were nice, architecture was great, and Long Island was lovely.

4
slaphappy2 4 points ago +4 / -0

Well - unless you flew into Newark, NJ - you definitely saw at least some of Queens - but probably nothing you would put on a postcard.

I'd rather be living in Texas. personally.

3
TEXinLA 3 points ago +3 / -0

Flew into Newark, NJ so I still don't know.

I moved from Austin to Los Angeles in the early 1990s and have watched CA turn into the liberal shithole it is. Of course, Austin is too.

And fuck the 'horns. Was looking forward to seeing the Tower lit Orange for our GEOTUS and they lost to TCU...

2
slaphappy2 2 points ago +2 / -0

That one went over my head.

I get that the 'horns are a Texas college football team that you are rooting for.

But why are you saying "fuck them" just because they lost ? Did they not play their best ? I don't get it.

6
ChelseaHubbell 6 points ago +6 / -0

Fuck BLM and antifa, MAGA is the real movement of the people!

Staten Island too, probably, and a few communities in Brooklyn.

58

Really warms my heart to see this in NYC.

Never even thought it was possible these days.

The fight is there.

37
Chesteraarthur2 37 points ago +38 / -1

There are millions of us. Unfortunately there are more millions of Commies and cucks, but it warms my heart to see people being unafraid.

30
brxn 30 points ago +30 / -0

I really don't think there are more of them than us.. even in places like New York and California. We've had media skewing numbers and making up fake news for so long that the numbers of Dems only seem larger than they are.

11
80960KA 11 points ago +11 / -0

Not to mention what appears to be rampant voter fraud going back at least a decade, if not two.

5

They probably just vote in a higher % than us

8
Vstablegenius45 8 points ago +8 / -0

Always remember they are in the minority, they had to take control of all media, social media, reddit, youtube and they are still losing.

They want you to think they are the majority voice but if they were why do they need to shut down everything they disagree with surely if they were the majority they would not need to lie about everything and try and control it as they would feel comfortable that the majority was on their side.

They are weak and they are losing.

11
TheThreeSeashells 11 points ago +11 / -0

They're not NYC residents. Just people whose parents or grandparents were smart enough to leave NYC long ago. It's a shame it will probably be less than 10 years before Long Island is completely destroyed by others doing the same thing now but bringing their crappy NYC Leftist voting preferences and criminal behavior with them.

The original waves who moved out to L.I. had a lot of policemen and firemen. The new waves are the ones that cause your area to need more policemen and firemen.

2
Strike_Eagle784 2 points ago +2 / -0

I remember my first visit to Trump Tower. I waited on line to go get my MAGA hat, and there was a lady there from Midtown, and she was there to get one too. That's how I learned how we have pedes fighting behind enemy lines in what used to be the greatest city in the world.

2
exarch 2 points ago +2 / -0

Never even thought it was possible these days.

Well, that's supposed to be the lesson from The Emperor Has No Clothes. When everyone keeps quiet, then no single person realizes how many people agree with them.

Every night on the news, it looks like you're alone and the communists are legion. Then one day you see that there are a lot of people who agree with you.

People in Austin were bitching about the Trump parade in Austin shutting down traffic lolllololklol. This is after the Rioters did it like at least a dozen times and they didn’t care.

43
Friendly_B 43 points ago +43 / -0

More than a dozen times.

21
Sixty2ndAssassin 21 points ago +21 / -0

And burnt businesses to the ground!

29
Aquamine-Amarine 29 points ago +29 / -0

The rioters actually destroyed stuff, the parade just passed through. The left is so stupid.

20

12
thuggishruggishtrump 12 points ago +12 / -0

May we take back NYC. New York has seen levels of crime not seen since the 1970s, that's how far Mayor Delusio has taken the city. That's what the regressive left wants to do to America.

6
MakeCaliRedAgain2020 6 points ago +6 / -0

1
Strike_Eagle784 1 point ago +1 / -0

The chances have gone of considerably. Most of the counties outside of the NYC boroughs, Albany, and Buffalo are reliably red. I think if we could get Albany, and Buffalo to slide red, it may be enough to overpower NYC.

They tried their hardest to make it sound like the Trump supporters were intentionally blocking traffic the same way BLM does, when in actuality, it looks like like temporary traffic jam.

3
dztrucktion 3 points ago +3 / -0

They got a couple barbs in there.

There were no arrests for blocking traffic — despite police cracking down on Black Lives Matter protestors and anti-eviction advocates for blocking traffic in recent weeks.

Really!?! Poor BLM all the do is block traffic and get arrested.

4
WhiteTrashJesus 4 points ago +4 / -0

4
BigAmericanParty 4 points ago +4 / -0

Yeah. Hicksville might as well be Jamaica at this point.

1
TheThreeSeashells 1 point ago +1 / -0

It is hard to tell where one ends and the other begins. I guess you can figure it out when you stop seeing the elevated trains and city buses.

1
WhiteTrashJesus 1 point ago +1 / -0

Nassau has L trains there is even one as far east as babylon. But yes the point is suffolk is long island and nassau is a part of queens

1
TheThreeSeashells 1 point ago +1 / -0

But those are LIRR trains which are different than subway trains. Yes, they're elevated, but they're not subway trains. I"m not sure if they're running the double-decker trains on that line, but if they are, nobody is mistaking those for subway trains.

In other news, mayor Bill DeBlasio has been admitted to London Terrace psychiatric hospital after a sudden and catastrophic mental breakdown. Caretakers say the preliminary diagnosis appears to be acute TDS, aggravated by the presence of large numbers of Trump supporters all over the streets of New York City. His chance for recovery is unknown at this time.

Yeah they burn loot murder big difference.

"As many took to the streets outside Trump Tower, there was also virtually no sign of any masks, either — despite the pandemic that brought them there to show support for the president after his hospitalization."

Fake news gotta fake news.

There were no arrests for blocking traffic — despite police cracking down on Black Lives Matter protestors and anti-eviction advocates for blocking traffic in recent weeks.

“There were a lot of cops [but] there was no trouble,” said a local security guard, who estimated she saw the caravan blocking Fifth Avenue almost 10 blocks from 54th to around 62nd Street. “It was peaceful, no stress. Nobody was hassling anybody,” she said of the loud show of support.

As many took to the streets outside Trump Tower, there was also virtually no sign of any masks, either — despite the pandemic that brought them there to show support for the president after his hospitalization."

Good but no shit did they didn't arrest them, did you see crackdowns on antifa or blm.. why would they arrest Patriots? Wearing a mask is not a law and actually increases the spread (continually touching, taking on and off)

“I felt the love and energy today,” the 28-year-old Trump supporter from Farmingdale told The Post of the “prayer vigil” for POTUS and FLOTUS.

“Today the energy was electric. It was amazing — no chaos, no [middle] fingers, no drama, just supporting our president and our [men and women in] blue,” she said.

How do people who don’t use social media get word of these events? I live in the NY/NJ area and I would love to come show my support and wave my Trump flag. But I never hear about these things until after the event. If someone knows please let me know. Thanks!

2
WhiteTrashJesus 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yea you have to find the pro trump facebook groups or people in your area. I missed this one because I don’t generally monitor facebook but I usually hear about them from my mom who scrolls on fb a lot. Then I log in and look it up. LI mom facebook is full of pro trump Memes and shit. It’s crazy lol. But if you don’t want to have facebook or have someone you know who can show you events maybe get a cb radio because they definitely use those when they do these parades.

3

Now that’s the difference between Trump voters and Biden voters. Peace vs burning and fighting.
