NBA is going to raise prices for tickets, "transaction fees", merchandise prices, cost to do business will just go up. Doesn't mean a whole lot for the NBA. You would only be able to hurt them if their TV contracts were up for renewal which they are not. They will recoup the losses unfortunately.

Most revenue comes from TV contracts. merchandise which has a massive profit margin will not have a huge loss in cost since everything is cheaply made in china anyways. You want to go after the NBA, NFL or any other pro sports you have to target TV contracts that are worth billion and is biggest factor in terms of Salary cap for those two leagues. The salary cap goes down, player's salaries go down. Owners cut goes down. Only way to get their attention.

NBA TV contract isn't up for another 4 years. Probably start negotiations in 3. Long time
