That's what I see. One party wants lockdowns, masks, and gubernatorial dictates as the new normal while the other party is fighting to make the old normal the new normal.

Now that they've established that a large portion of the population will tolerate this nonsense, they're going to try to use all of it for future flu seasons and for climate change.
