We Decouple from China (+1% tariffs a month on all Chinese goods) and then encourage manufacturers to relocate in the NAFTA zone.

-Tariff $ (hundreds of billions) offered to companies as 0% loans for building new factories if they re-locate to NAFTA zone

-All US made goods to have 0% tax on their profits

Even without this, we've already seen Samsung move out of China, and switch TV production to Mexico.

Honestly I think the US is better off with our manufacturing going to Mexico then going to China.

By doing this we are boosting our southern neighbors economy, thus making them a strong defense against illegal immigrants. Also Mexico is a Christian nation, and they have many of the same values that America was founded on (not all mind you but many). Lastly Mexico has no hope of ever directly competing with America like China does, nor do they wish to.

I would prefer our manufacturing be here but if that isn’t viable then I believe we have 2 safe investments.

Mexico > India >>>>>> China

I much prefer to buy things made in Mexico for this very reason. If it's not in the U.S. and I have no alternative but a Mexico or Chinese made thing. I'll pick Mexico item. This keeps work there and not broke exploited people here.

Mexico has vast resources. There's no reason besides bad management that they should not be a powerhouse of a nation. It's beautiful, much of the people are very hard working and value community and family. It's just so corrupt in so many places. It's amazing that the American Mexicans don't reinvade and take it back over.
