I just got a spare so I could test out the spiffy mods you can do with them: lighter hammer spring for easy trigger pull and different recoil spring for less felt recoil.
Both have been 100% solid performers, purchased used on gunbroker. Don't pay a dime over $300 even in this market. I have a gen1 and gen2. I ended up liking the sights on the gen2 better, but the gen1 feels more sleek.

I have a gen 2. I put a dot of white paint on the front sight. It makes a YUGE difference.
