We had friends over recently with lots of kids. One friend brought her kid with one of his friends from outside our town. At the end of the night, we had 28 holes in our wall from (mostly) this random kid deciding it would be cool to throw real darts from ~20 feet away, and when my kid asked him to stop, he said something like “don’t your parents have money, can’t they just hire someone to fix it?”.
The lack of respect these days that people raise their kids to have (along with many other things), really bothers me. Am I out of line? I also told my son that if he sees that kid again, he’s free to kick his ass, bc apparently he was talking crap to all the other kids the whole day.
The rest of the day was a blast but this still bothers me. Open to any thoughts.
Light coat of drywall mud, sand prime and paint. 1 day 8 hours at $95 per hour, materials cost plus 70% markup.
Wake someone up with that $1100? cost for a handyman to come in and fix juniors screw up.
Seriously, I would call, explain, the fix is what u want, fuck the demon spawn, put ball in their court, and ban the pricks from future visits. Life's too short to suffer assholes.
The ban is on full force for sure. We don’t want to ruin friends outside relationships but we will warn them for sure, for their kids sake at the least.
It's funny. My wife and I have will say "can I make you the bad guy?" for (insert situation) and we're both "hell yes!" So that's a good go to trick to keep up up your sleeve. Good cop bad cop! Ha ha!
