I had lots of Hispanic co-workers in my old job, but I remember one who crossed the border with his mother as little boy. He remembers being detained in an ICE facility but eventually they got into America. That guy kept his nose clean, became a citizen, got an education and a great job.

I drove him home one day and saw that he had a large flag pole with an American flag in the middle of his front yard. I had no idea he was this based and patriotic. I've never met anyone who loved this country more than him.
