Those are fine jobs but I don't think I would qualify. I am pretty much on the low end meaning I'm better suited for random ass low paying jobs like security or hotel cleaning.
I can also provide some insight as to how I developed good writing skills. It basically comes from two things.
The security job that I had for three & a half years required very good detailed reports for everything that we did and everything that happened, and we did it through a smart phone app.
Lastly, for several years, I've been making mods for some old games (2005 era) and as I went along, I had to learn to write very clear instructions for the noobs so they would understand what my mods do and how to install them. I can't say which games exactly because I don't want to dox myself.
I have never consider any form of higher education because I never finished high school nor am I interested in being indoctrinated with far left garbage.
I am definitely more interested in skilled trades. I would love anything hands on.
I also plan to get a car at some point but I won't be ready for that for a while. I cannot afford it yet.
I'm not sure yet but I am sure they at least have a bus system.
I've only been here for a few days and I haven't ventured out more than a mile from my temporary apartment.
Also, I would agree about your comment regarding taking risks. This isn't my first time.
I'm from Nashville, and in early 2015, I got bored with life, picked a random ass location, (California), and left with nothing but a few hundred bucks and some clothes and survived pretty well for those five years.
I lived in a large city in California. The sports arena cleanup job I had was a half mile away, literally visiable from the crappy apartment I had, so I walked. Most of my security sites were also within walking distance and I used Uber for the few that were beyond a few miles.
I’m nowhere near there, but there are some city jobs on their website. It looks like these are all part time. It might get your foot in the door. They seem pretty basic jobs that you wouldn’t need a lot of experience for https://www.siouxfalls.org/human-resources/career-opportunities
It's South Dakota, look around. Try the job listing sites, the state labor department has a list if I'm correct. If you just need something for cash flow, give the hotel systems a chance. I can't say too much for work on that side of the state.

Sorry I'm not there so can't help, but you've got a great attitude, pede. Glad you made the move and best of luck to you. I'll say a prayer something great opens up for you.
God Speed 🙏
Thanks!
Thanks for the tip. I don't plan on mentioning the lack of vehicle anyway, but if they ask, I'm not lying.

Wishing you all the best brother..
Thanks mate!
Thanks! I forgot about CL, I haven't used that site for anything in many years. I will definitely go over your link.
Thanks! I love it too so far.
I sold most of my stuff and used the money to pay for a Greyhound trip + reserve an AirBNB for the entire month of October.

No car. I simply lived very minimalist.

They are building an Amazon distro center there, look into that longer term. Good luck! And don’t cuck SD, it’s a gem of a state.
I know, and trust me, I won't. I was dumb to choose California in the first place. If I knew better, I would have came to SD five years ago instead.
You are gonna need a car, and the winters weed out the weaker folk, so last til spring and you’ll be fine. :)
I grew up there and ended up in shitty Illinois due to work, but looking to come back soon.
I will gladly except any amount or form of harsh weather if it means I can be around normal people and have a cheaper safer life.
